Description
A beautiful male Cardinal finds some protection from the snowy cold among branches in a backyard Ohio garden. Usually in the winter, I have large numbers of Cardinals who feed at the same time. I thought this was strange, but then read that Cardinals do stay in flocks during the winter. . . so to my great delight, I can look out my windows almost every evening to see a dozen or so beautiful Cardinals! This shot shows the individual beauty of one male who just needed a little "alone time."
