Description
I was trying to get pictures of Red-wingED Blackbirds in a marshy area of a park close to my house. It was Spring in Ohio and so it had rained a lot, things were pretty soggy and muddy. The sky was a light blue with puffy white clouds and the sun was trying to warm the cool air. The birds were not cooperating with me and were finding it fairly easy to hide from me in the tall grass and cattails. As I walked closer and closer to the birds, I was getting very close to the slippery slopes that could have led to my sliding right down into the muck. I was trying to be aware of my footing and also not lose sight of those elusive birds! I kept hearing little splash sounds as I slinked along. Pretty quickly I realized that I was disturbing quite a few frogs who had been resting in that muck.
I tried to spot one, but they were quicker than me. I would only see flashes as they disappeared into the water. I gave up and went around another way. Finally I circled back again and this little one was braver than the others (or maybe he felt a bit sorry for me!?) He allowed me to take three shots before he decided to spring . . . and just like that ; he was gone!

Thank you so much for looking at my images. I appreciate that very much. . . . and please, stay safe!
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!

Lol too funny. Spring>>>spring/jump/Spring as in Spring.. Well titled yet again. Does look like its about to leap away, and keeping. close eye on you. Always enjoy seeing the return of life once Spring gathers some steam. Frogs and Red WingED birds singing must have made for some peaceful music...:-)
