Description
It is a cold winter day. Our ground has been covered by snow for weeks now, which is quite unusual in central Ohio. Every couple of days we get another inch of light fluffy snow and it is so cold that it stays as lovely sparkly crystals. I was looking out at my garden and it seemed to me that these Japanese Anemone stems still looked lovely even in their bare minimalist state. I love these flowers in the Fall when they are covered with beautiful soft pink petals, but I also love them standing tall against the pure white stillness of winter, promising that spring will one day come, and then summer. But for now, I will enjoy today and the quiet winter peace.
