Description
This little young raccoon was hanging on for dear life and really wishing I would disappear and leave him alone. I'm not really sure what it means that his little nose is about to drip...is he cold? is he scared? does he have the same miserable cold that I can't seem to get rid of either?
Well, speaking of not being able to get rid of.....yep....this little guy has made our home his home. He first decided to take up residence in our grill. We decided to move it into our garage, but luckily we discovered he was hiding (or maybe trapped) in the charcoal bin JUST BEFORE we carried it into our garage! We let him go and hoped that he scurried into the woods for good.....but the next day I discovered he has now made himself at home under our porch. Any advice on how to get rid of him and still let him live will be appreciated! He sure is cute!
I am so concerned with our environment that I have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!

Such an adorable and fantastic capture Karen and a most interesting story! Hope he somehow took off and lived a very happy life! I would not know how to get rid of one, however I do know I would never call the animal control people. Here I did that once and had a horrible experience, but, long story. Funny about the tissue, LOL!

Oh dear! Sounds like a bad story! I know what you mean though . . . they are so cute . .. but at a distance from our own homes is preferred!

Oh Karen! You got SUCH a good shot of this little guy! And I love your title! He sure is cute, but I know they can be quite, shall I say, assertive! Did you ever manage to convince him to move along down the road...or is he still "hanging" around your place? Great shot my friend! L/F
Karen Adams replied:
He hung around during the coldest times , but we haven't seen him lately...luckily!...thanks, Sandi

A cute picture and story, I hope he is doing ok. He looks a little sad and lonely and as if he has a cold. :) LF
