Description
It was a late September afternoon. The sun was a bit low in the sky but shining brightly in through the windows. I noticed the apple suncatcher hanging in the window was reflecting on to my wall and making a really beautiful abstract image. This is the picture the sun painted on my wall that day. This image is a white wall, trim work around a window and light and shadows cast by the sun. So simple, and it was only there for a few minutes. Soon the sun moved across the sky, so too did the reflection of the apple and my composition was gone!
This suncatcher was inherited from my parents, and I like to think they are reminding me that they are with me by these little notes left around my home from time to time.
