Description
Easter fell on April Fool's Day this year. it was a cold brisk, but luckily, sunshiny day. The kids raced around the yard in heavy winter coats in search of eggs. The chilly temperatures didn't dampen the event in any way. Late that night though the cold turned into snow falling from the dark skies. When we woke the next morning everything was covered in a blanket of fresh wet snow. It clung to everything! It is my very favorite kind of snow! The roads and walks were still clear, but the woods looked like a winter wonderland. The wet snow seemed desperate to cling to whatever it had landed on. Sorry to say for the snow, the rising warm Spring sun melted it almost before my eyes!
April was still ready to deliver more surprises to Ohio. The next morning I woke early to the sound of thunder! Today has been non-stop rain with almost constant thunder and lightning! Happy April! What will tomorrow bring?
Thank you so much for taking time to look through my images and collections. I really appreciate your time!
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!
