As adorable and cute....and as much as I LOVE my daughters and grandchildren ..... I could not help watching these three playing at the water park while my loved ones splashed in front of me. They were so loving and supportive of each other. It was mesmerizing to watch as they played in the fountains of cool water oblivious to the hot sunshine beating down on them. They were almost always touching each other....carrying one, holding hands or arms around each other. When they separated and ran through the spray it seemed they were always aware of where the other two were. And after those brief moments, they would come back together, laughing and touching again! Were they brother and sisters? cousins? or just friends? We will never know . . . . but I do know this. I cannot think of a better symbol of how to get through our lives than how these three children showed me that morning!
May we all have wonderful friends to help us dance together and keep us safe. I pray that these three beautiful children live wonderful lives, because they touched me with their love!
This was taken one warm September morning at the Bicentennial Park and the Scioto Mile in downtown Columbus, Ohio.

Yes, something magic happens when you mix water with kids and friendship. I also love the power of the color red in a photograph. Nicely done Karen!

I love serendipity . . . and those red leaves sprinkled along the ledge were definitely a wonderful touch if it!
