I saw this Black Swallowtail butterfly in my garden late in the afternoon yesterday. I was thrilled to see him, but quite sad to see that its one wing had quite a bit of damage to it. Bravely it flew on as if no injury had occurred. I was so happy to be able to capture a shot that showed the beauty that was still there!
