Description
Dad carved this cross for Epworth United Methodist Church to honor someone who had meant a lot to that congregation. It is the cross they use in their sanctuary every week. They were very kind to allow us to borrow it to use at mom's Celebration of Life service. I really felt it looked at home in my garden. I will always have this picture to remember it. The cross is back where it belongs with the good people of Epworth Church!

Karen, this is an incredibly touching portrait of your father's carving talent represented in this stunning Cross. Beautifully framed with the flowers and plants representing your mother's love of gardening. A very fitting tribute to both your parents. An image to cherish forever. F/L

Thank you so much, Brian. I am really appreciating the lessons of my parents. My dad's generosity with his gifts means that he is still present with so many people....a wonderful treasure!

What a lovely idea to bring this cross to your garden among the phlox and cosmos! It looks so beautiful there but I'm certain it is treasured by the Epworth congregation! F/L++

What an outstanding tribute to your parents -- your father, as the artist that carved this work of art; and, your mother's memory at a celebration of her life. Lovely image, too.
