Description
Harper's Ferry National Park is a really beautiful and historic place. One very cool feature of the park is that you can stand at a certain point and see three states: West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland. In the midst of all this beauty and nature, I surprised myself by being drawn to this chain-link fence that protects walkers on a windy journey high above the Potomac River to view the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers and the three states - West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland.
I loved the abstract feel and texture of this fence!
Thank you so much for looking at my images. I appreciate that very much.
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!

I love this area and your photo too. My son rode the bike trail through the railroad tunnels there and on to Washington D.C. L/F

Wow! Sounds like great fun! Unfortunately, we were there just before a day long rain moved in, so our visit was short but sweet. Hope to go back ! Thanks, Nancy
