This was taken on Easter Sunday, 2016, on one of the first really lovely days of Spring here in Ohio! These Forsythia bushes grow wild in the woods behind us beneath a fairly heavy canopy of trees. Almost everything is still bare and brown, except these. I really like the abstract feel of these few bright yellow Forsythia blooms against the cool rock with moss growing on it!
'When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.' ~ Ansel Adams . . . . . . . . . . Then your time on Earth will be filled with glory" ~ Betty Smith, American author (1896-1972) I have always loved taking pictures. I majored in Fine Arts at Ohio University in Athens where I concentrated on painting and ceramics. Photography was a hobby I loved, but have still never taken a class. Hopefully, I will get around to that some...

Very nice abstract pattern as well! Am surprised that your spring is not in full swing. F/L+
Karen Adams replied:
We have warm days (70 degrees) and then freezing again....typical Spring in Ohio!
