Camassia flowers always make me think of celebration; of a party; of fun and joy. . . and so when I was photographing these, I was being a little crazy, experimenting with focus, and points of view, etc.

This makes me think of being at a party and those times when I get 'caught' by someone who just wants to talk one on one with me . . . but I want to hear what the friends across the room are talking about . . . and laughing, having so much fun . . . but I don't want to be rude . . . and I do like the person talking to me . . . but I really want to focus over there, just for a second . . . It definitely is a gift to learn focus and appreciate what is right in front of me. It is something I am working on! But I sure wish I could focus on two or three things simultaneously. Wouldn't that be great?
