It was a very strange winter morning in Ohio. February is always a month of confusing weather patterns, but this day found us with heavy grey clouds so full they rained on us from what could be called sun-up until late in the night. The thing that was crazy was that it was below freezing, but rain insisted on staying rain except on trees, plants and electric wires. Every tree, plant and bush had beautiful sparkly jewelry hanging from each limb and branch. This lasted ALL DAY! The roads and sidewalks remained very wet, but never got icy. Just a perfect ice display in my opinion! Trees glistened whenever a ray of sun broke through the thick clouds and made such amazing displays as the sun set and street lights glowed through the dark. It truly seemed a wonderland! Since I was doing my grandmother duties, I could not just go out and take tons of pictures, but I did sneak this one in of a tall grass in my backyard.
Thank you so much for taking your time to look at this image. I know time is precious, and I really appreciate the moments you spend with me and my view of the world!
I am so concerned with our environment that I have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!
