Description

I was resting on my patio on a cloudy summer afternoon in Ohio. I am so happy that I happened to have my camera resting next to me. This cheerful little visitor zoomed past me . . . flitting back and forth between my tall purple verbena flowers . . . pausing only briefly at each. I was lucky to be able to capture this moment before . . . as quickly as it appeared . . . it flew away!

Haha! Than's exactly what happend to me! Just strolling around the back yard, not really paying attention when the humming bird zipped in to the honesuckle vine about five feet in front of me. I managed two decant shots before he zipped away!! :D We are staying with some of my husbands family for now so I am not sure if I will get any bird shots this summer, but I am sure to find lots of most everything else! :D

So beautiful!!!! I hope to capture some this summer as well! If your raise you ISO, you can use a faster shutter speed and get stop motion in their wings. :D v/f
