Description
Sometimes it seems to just take forever to get ready for a special occasion! Washing and drying, combing and curling, trying on, taking off, changing mind and taking time. It can be exhausting! Wouldn't it be nice if we (especially women) could just wrap ourselves in a lovely green sheet and chill for a while before springing forth with the beauty and grace of a Monarch butterfly??
Isn't it cool how you can actually see the butterfly's wings folded inside this chrysalis? Nature is amazing!
Monarch butterflies go through four stages during one life cycle, and through four generations in one year. ... The four stages of the monarch butterfly life cycle are the egg, the larvae (caterpillar), the pupa (chrysalis), and the adult butterfly.
What wonderful creatures! We humans can help monarchs by providing them the plant they need to survive: the milkweed plant. It is a beautiful plant that usually grows in the wild, but civilization has reduced the numbers of Milkweed plants. If you have any space in your garden, please consider the addition of this plant and you can help the survival of this wonderful species.

Thank you so much for looking at my images. I appreciate that very much.
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!

I will never forget the kindness of this man. . . . always a positive thing to say . . . he is gone way too soon and I miss him. I will try to think of him as a butterfly who has flown from this chrysalis on earth.
