Description
Lovely ruffles of a lavender Bearded Iris seem to glow in the Spring time sunshine of my Ohio perennial garden. I love the symmetry of these six-lobed flowers. Three stand upward, while three curve downward, called "falls." The little fuzzy bright orange parts are called the beards, thus giving this flower its name.
I love Spring and knowing that soon the Iris flowers will burst forth and sing in the sunshine!
