Description
I love butterflies and I know a lot of others do too. I hope my images will inspired people to enjoy them, appreciate them and help them....
Please consider doing a small part to help the survival of these beautiful unique creatures. visit Monarchwatch.org and get information on what needs to be done to help. You can order seed packets of plants that butterflies thrive on. The Monarch must have Milkweed plants and our society is wiping that plant off the face of the earth. Please consider finding a spot you could plant Milkweed. If you know an organization that might be interested in helping, Monarchwatch.org will send FREE Milkweed seed to you. So do something, if you can! http://monarchwatch.org/bring-back-the-monarchs/milkweed/free-milkweeds
You will receive much more than you give.

Awesome capture of a gorgeous butterfly who might one day soon disappear do to man raking the rain forest and killing off the milkweed plant in which they lay their larvae. Thank you Karen for sharing! F/L

I love all these beautiful butterflies that you capture, Karen! Can you send some my way? I seem to attract more moths than butterflies! :) v/f
Karen Adams replied:
Ha ha! This year was actually pretty awful for butterflies...not sure why, but I had very few! Thanks for your comments, Melanie!
