Description
The Mysteries of Loretta
Emerging from the dreamy imaginings of a young woman
A vision of strength and beauty forms.
No one in particular,
But the shape of Hope and Determination
Shining through Pain and Loss,
A sense of Adventure and Wonder
And Reality and Fate.
The Power of unending Love and Acceptance
Belonging.
Always feeling the Security of Faith and Home.
A Nomad with an anchor
Tranquil in the Chaos
Facing an unknown Future
No Fortune Teller can predict
With Peaceful calm.
Where will she go?
What will she do?
Who will she love?
And who will love her?
?
This is an original oil on canvas that I did in my late teens. The original is not for sale.

Kevin, You are so sweet! Thank you so much for your kind words!! I keep dreaming of painting, but the closest I get is setting up paint tables for the grandchildren!

Great intensity, Karen. I love this work, its title and your description. Hope you did more after this one...because you certainly have shared your talent for portraiture! And in oil, too. F/L+++
