I am not a rock expert, but I think this is a good picture of Ohio's sedimentary rocks. This is a rock wall that surrounds a usually sleepy waterfall located just behind our home in a protected nature area. Thanks to a lot of recent rain and then melting snow, the waterfall is a roaring force lately. The ups and downs of temperatures have really created some beautiful natural artwork. I love the frozen droplets that reach from rock edge to the flowing water below giving the appearance of a decorative fringe detail to a couture gown.
