Description
I cannot look at this image without getting nostalgic for my time living in Athens and attending Ohio University. This is a view taken from East Green, just outside Biddle Hall where I lived for two years. Most of our classes were up that hill! We could climb these steps, or go up Jeff Hill or Shively Hill. When we said we were going "uptown," we literally meant Up town! Those were great times! Just about anyone who attended OU, loves it forever!

Thank you so much, Bob. This image tugs at my heart a bit today, as my youngest is starting first days of class today for her jr, year. Time flies...or maybe it runs down the stairs!

Having a sepia plus a color version of this image invites comparison. I find there is so much to look at and enjoy in this detailed image, I really appreciate the warm colors and calming influence of the sepia. Beautifully done! v/f
Karen Adams replied:
Thanks, Lenore. It will be interesting to see which most people prefer! I personally lean towards the sepia myself! but I love the blue sky of Athens!
