Zen is a word broadly used now a days . . .It is based on a school of Mahayana Buddhism that asserts that enlightenment can be attained through meditation, self-contemplation, and intuition rather than through faith and devotion. This is practiced mainly in China, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam. It is also called Zen Buddhism. Zen is also felt as an approach to an activity, skill, or subject that emphasizes simplicity and intuition rather than conventional thinking or fixation on goals.

I guess I use it in a broader form as I have a very strong Faith in a Superior Being, but I love the ideas and think they can morph together with that. I also think other people have their own relationships with that Superior Being, maybe called something else. We are all searching for the same thing through our own prisms of life. . . . and that is more than ok!
My faith also deals with life in this way. . . . to appreciate each moment of life . . . to celebrate waking up every morning...
