Description
This has been a really wonderful summer for the flowers growing in my garden. I planted a seed mix that was designed to attract butterflies, and they did their job pretty well, I think. Of course, the trick is always to be quiet so the butterfly doesn't know you are there. I also try to make sure I am getting an interesting, and hopefully beautiful background for these little creatures. I was really happy with how the flowers blurred in this and created such a lovely rainbow of colors. I was tempted to call this image "Butterfly Rainbow," but didn't want to disappoint any viewer who really wants to see an actual rainbow!! And yes, the wings of this little beauty are edged in a pink that is very close to the color of that gorgeous Zinnia flower!
