Description
I love Oriental poppies, but then are only showing for a very short time in the spring before they die down, looking like a weed. Papaver orientale is a perennial flowering plant native to the Caucasus, northeastern Turkey, and northern Iran, but I am happy to say they do well in Ohio gardens too! I love the center pistil even after the gorgeous petals fall to the ground!
Thank you so much for looking at my images. I appreciate that very much. Be safe and be kind to one another!
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!
