Description
I seem to have many mornings like this recently. . . . where the plants of the earth seem to be heavy with tears engulfed in grey skies. Is the Earth crying from the awful treatment it is receiving from uncaring industry and greed? Toxins have been released into our water and skies and the powers that could stop it turn blind eyes to the effects on our beloved nature and our own bodies, our children, our future.
I was inspired to name this Pearl Dew of Winter from a really lovely poem by Musfiq us shaleheen:
Pearl Dew
Still I think of you,
a few drops of your tears
as the pearl dew of winter
@ Musfiq us shaleheen. He is really an amazing poet and his work can be found at http://hellopoetry.com/musfiq-us-shaleheen/ I encourage you to visit his site. You will love his work!
I am so concerned with our environment that I have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!

Wonderful....and I love your statement and the poem too! I'm trying also to make environmental statements with my art. It's a voice! I collect all of the art in a gallery so that it's my platform. We all do need to speak up.
