This is a photo-painting of a peony from my garden. This plant grew on my great-grandparents farmland in Plain City, Ohio, almost 150 years ago. Through the years it has been dug up and transplanted as my family moved to the city and then to suburbs. It is a treasured connection to my past and especially wonderful to see the joy it brings to my mother when she sees them blooming!
