Description
This is the same image as "Peony Tulip Foxtrot" in Black and White. . . which you can see the color version in my Series Gallery.
This is a tulip that looks a lot like a peony . . . and hence the name "peony-tulip!" I found this beauty at the Franklin Park (in Columbus, Ohio.) The evening light was kissing this one so perfectly that I really did very little to this one other than snap the shutter. It was such a wonderful day. . . strolling through the Park with my daughter who was gracious enough to stand and wait every time I stopped to take a picture . . . which was often! So I thank her for her gift of patience with her silly Mom and the Lord for His gift of the beauty all around us!
Thank you so much for looking at my images. I appreciate that very much.
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!
