Description
It was a sunny March day in Ohio as I walked my dog, Sunny, across a nearby bridge. I looked down to see beautiful reflections in the clear stream below. I thought I had to make the time in a very busy day to get back there soon to try to capture this! As I returned with camera in hand, many neighbors were out walking and enjoying a wonderful gift of warmth and sun on a Sunday afternoon. I tried to ignore their wonderings about me as I climbed the wooden timbers that keep one from falling to the ravine below so I could balance and steady myself enough to get a few shots from above of this golden flowing artwork. Very soon the sun was low and the trees were casting shadows where once light had sparkled. I am so glad I hurried and took the few minutes.
Water is life and it is something we cannot take for granted. We must do everything in our power to assure that all people around the world have access to safe, clean drinking water. Water nourishes our bodies and our souls!
I am so concerned with our environment that I have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!

Absolutely an amazing capture at the most perfect timing!! it is meant to be for you to capture this sensational beauty from nature!! it looks so much like a piece of beautiful abstract art with wonderful colours and textures and lighting!! and i agree with you, everybody deserved to have clean water to use and to drink. i believe water have memory and that they can be use as a tool of communication. it is time for all of us to give our water some really good memories starting now. it is never too late. we just need to start loving and caring for our water so the water can remember that humanity do care for them!! i really love this magnificent image Karen!!
