Description
You can't tell by looking at this but just below what you can see here are a bunch of big white, gobbling turkeys! While all the children and parents were fussing over these noisy birds who were demanding some kind of food, I was looking at their old 'turkey coop?' Is that what you call where turkeys live?? I am a city girl, so I was actually proud when I corrected some folks (in my head only) when they said, "look at those chickens!" Anyway! I loved the lines, patterns and shapes from shadows cast in the low Autumn sunlight. Fall in Ohio is really a wonderful time. Many days, like this one, the sky is a beautiful blue and the sun shines brightly even though You need a jacket. Trees are golden yellows, oranges and reds . . . . and turkeys squabble in their cage . . . and I am oblivious to it all: taking pictures of an old barn wall!
This is a black and white version that you might also enjoy in color. That image is simply titled "Shed Shadows." You can find both of these in my Series Collection.
really appreciate you taking time to look at my artwork. Thank you so much!
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!
