Artist's Description
These artworks of nature are so rare that everyone is talking about seeing a Snow Roller! The conditions in Columbus were just right for the development of these all around the city. I was lucky enough to have some in my own backyard. A frozen ground covered by light fluffy snow yesterday, with rising temperatures and a brisk wind today was the perfect environment for Snow Rollers (or Snow Wheels, or Snow Donuts) to form. It looked like Mother Nature was trying to build her own army of snow people, but got interrupted! Our Earth is full of wonders and surprises!
About Karen Adams
'When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.' ~ Ansel Adams . . . . . . . . . . Then your time on Earth will be filled with glory" ~ Betty Smith, American author (1896-1972) I have always loved taking pictures. I majored in Fine Arts at Ohio University in Athens where I concentrated on painting and ceramics. Photography was a hobby I loved, but have still never taken a class. Hopefully, I will get around to that some...
