Description
Spring in Ohio, as most places, is a time of Joy! Everyone's spirit rises with the warm days, the open windows and the days that are finally longer! Neighbors are out walking, talking, cleaning, mowing, playing. It is like we have all come up out of the ground just like the faithful daffodils in my garden. . . . and I really do think I heard this one sing a happy song of celebration!
Daffadowndilly by A.A. Milne
She wore her yellow sun-bonnet,
She wore her greenest gown;
She turned to the south wind
And curtsied up and down.
She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbour:
"Winter is dead."
