Description
We visited Mt Vernon in the Spring of 2018. I was impressed by many things, but maybe most of all by the gardens and the great knowledge that George Washington had and developed at his home. So many years later, thousands can still walk through his gardens and breathe in the tremendous beauty of nature!
You can learn a lot by being a gardener, especially if you plant bulbs. You must plan ahead and be willing to work on something in the Fall, that you will not see any benefits of until sometime, months later, in the Spring. You have to be willing to wait for gratification. You have to be patient. You have to have faith that one day these bulbs will work their way up through the earth and burst forth in colors well worth the wait! And boy, are they worth the wait!
Thank you so much for looking at my images. I appreciate that very much.
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!
