Description
This is a really big old tree stump. I think a Sycamore. It makes me sad when I walk by it. I wonder how long that great tree stood in that spot before it fell, or was chopped down. I imagine the history it witnessed; the regular daily lives of people who passed by it, or rested under its shade on a hot day. I wonder if adventurous children climbed up in its branches? How many birds, squirrels and raccoons called this home through so many years? I wonder . . . . .
Thank you so much for looking at my images. I appreciate your time and interest so much.

Wonderful textures in this shot. I often wonder the same thing when I see the lines in an old tree stump - the history it has seen and the lives it effected.
