This is a processed version of the original image "The Queen's Crown." I called it a sketch although, I did not draw this, it just has the feel of a sketch . . . . maybe I will though!
I was walking through my garden yesterday when this beautiful star burst-snowflake-flower head stopped me in my tracks. It is not a typical top to a Queen Anne's Lace, which is usually completely covered with little florets . . . but the form of this I found quite stunning. I made several versions of this image, because I find the structure and shape so lovely. I hope you do too!
