Description
This is a black and white version of "There Was a Crooked Man."
There was a Crooked Man
by Mother Goose
There was a crooked man, and he walked a crooked mile,
He found a crooked sixpence against a crooked stile;
He bought a crooked cat which caught a crooked mouse,
And they all lived together in a little crooked house.
This wonderful old brick building seems to still be standing against all laws of physics and building safety! It is an old wonder found in downtown Old Worthington, a quaint suburb of Columbus with a really lovely city center. Several are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, although I cannot find that this is one of those! Many of these were built in the early to mid 1800s. I am thinking this might date back to that time period as well.
So I am wondering, who lived in this beautiful brick home and when did it start shifting and become a crooked little house? And did a crooked little family live here??
Thank you so much for looking at my images. I appreciate that very much.
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!

This is a very captivating B&W image that provide moments of visual delights and entertainment Karen!! this house really is standing strong against all laws of logic and physics. and it teaches us a powerful lesson in life. when life gives you twist and turn, tilts and bends, don't give up and don't give in! stay true to who you are and use the inner strength to fight and have faith that you will still be standing strong at the end against all odds because God have deeper plans for you and you are meant to inspire. this house is an example of miracle do happens to those who believe!! Again! such profound thoughts you share!! I don't think there is anyone who gets through life without these upheavals and crooked parts. We all try to attain perfection, when we should realize that our imperfections are what makes us each unique and beautiful and strong!
