Description
A Blue Morpho Butterfly tries to free himself from the confines of a glass home at the Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Ohio. His attempts at freedom were almost heartbreaking. I was holding my breath (and also clicking my shutter as fast as possible,) hoping that he would not injure himself in the process. You can see he is a stunning butterfly! Soon he turned his attention back to the beauty of the indoor landscape behind him. Tropical plants, a bubbling stream and trays full of fruit.....and lots and lots of beautiful creatures fluttering through!
