May in Ohio. The world is waking from a long grey winter. Bulbs are blooming. Birds are singing. Grass is greening and of course, rain is raining! It rained heavily for several hours and later I discovered this had washed much of my recently laid mulch down my hill and across a pathway . . . ( but I digress!) For now, I was enjoying the freshness in the air and the clean beauty of my garden. Figured it would be a good time to wander with my macro lens on my camera.

The journey was slow and meandering with many stops and stoops to capture pretty little miniature scenes I discovered along the way. Finally, I thought I'd spent enough time when I noticed some snapdragons on the patio in a pot. I decided my knees could handle one more time bending down to the ground and looked for scenes through the lens. Slowly moving my camera, I stopped on this raindrop and thought how wonderful it was to discover a teeny tiny tree in a bubble! Just a brief moment of magic. . . . a gift from the universe.
