I just read this saying in my local paper today and thought about this image I had been working on. I also remembered Al Gore speaking about Climate Change in his movie "An Inconvenient Truth." He made the statement that went something like, what does it matter if we have all the money we could ever desire, but no earth to live on?

And so, I think it is critical, after this year of such horrible natural disasters; hurricanes, earthquakes, fires, mudslides, ice storms, etc, to really take steps to care for our beautiful planet. Money is a man-made thing and only of value because we place a value on it . . . . but we are nothing without Earth! Earth Matters!
