The past few months have given most of us a lot of extra time to think . . . to contemplate how we have lived our lives . . . . what used to be considered important . . . . what really feels important now. Time has been a strange ghost that I am having a hard time capturing. It seems this has been going on forever and yet, it's still shocking that it is really happening.
I feel that my thoughts are in some kind of abstract wheel being rolled and turned over. Up is down and down is up. Reality has a strange cast over it . . . an unreal feel. Life goes on and there is still happiness, but there is a yearning for the touch of loved ones and closeness which will be real joy! I do not want to waste one day on Earth, though, and so I enjoy the beauty that is still in front of me, but through this new world filter. Look, but do not touch.
