Description
I have never seen a Baltimore Oriole. So you may be able to imagine my surprise when the other morning I looked up from working my Sudoku puzzle to see five male Baltimore Orioles sitting on a tree by my bird feeder! I was so stunned and afraid to move because I really didn't want to scare them away. I was able to whisper loud enough to my daughter to bring my camera to me and I was able to click off just a few through my window before they all flew off. I really did not expect to have anything worth showing to anyone else, but I am happy with the few I have posted here on FAA. They truly are spectacular in real life! Their orange chests just glow in the sunshine!

Congratulations on your first sighting of the Baltimore Oriole and being able to capture this amazing photo! His wonderful plumage are made more stunning against that blue sky! I love that I can see the eye, not always easy on a dark headed bird. Well done!
