Cardinals are beautiful birds any time of year, but you really can't beat a gorgeous male sitting on an evergreen tree with snow all around! Luckily, during the winter, Cardinals like to stay in groups, so I frequently have about a dozen of them visiting my feeders near the end of each day. It is like God decorates my yard at twilight for me to enjoy!
