The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
Every time I would visit my parents in their retirement home in Delaware, Ohio, I would drive down an old road that seemed more of an alley than a road. Along this 'road' is a really interesting old blue warehouse. The roof is an unusual shape and there are windows all over the building. It is not in the best of conditions, but it must do the trick as far as the owners of the building are concerned, because it is still being used. I just find so many little angles and views of this building that catch my eye. I especially love all of the personality in the rows of windows. They are stained, broken, some have paint on them....I just love them.
I have to make special trips up there now to see it. I jump out of my van snap a few new shots and hurry home to see what treasures I have uncovered this time. I played around with this image. First showing it with the natural color, then I looked at it as black and white and then I bumped up the color to really show all the charact...

In his tableau it's hard to tell where the colors that are reflected meet with the colors of the surfaces in front of us, and in the end it does not matter because the dimensions mix in a dream.
