Artist's Description
It was Christmas Eve morning and I woke with a list a mile long of things to get done in preparation for company and the big day approaching. Then I took my pup outside for her usual routine and as hard as I fought the urge, I could not resist. We went in and I fed her. Then I grabbed my camera and was out the back door.
It was so peaceful, cool and quiet. Nature just seemed to tell me to stop and absorb the world around me. Stop and think about the reason for the celebration of this season. Why do I stress so much about trying to make things 'perfect' when just being together and paying attention is really all that matters! Look into their eyes. Listen to their words, their laughter, even their cries. Feel the warm hugs and the feeling that we are ok together. A room filled with love doesn't really need anything more.
