Artist's Description
I am a big soccer fan, (possibly fanatic is a better word!) I'm not sure who else would look at this image and see a stadium of fans dressed in their team colors. They mingle. Croton are members of the Euphorbiaceae family of plants, which makes them relatives of the poinsettia and the cast iron plant. All parts of this plant are poisonous—especially the seeds—so it is not recommended for use in homes with curious pets or children. When damaged, the plant produces a milky sap that can be irritating to the skin, too. Croton, also called “garden croton,” are native to the tropical forests of southeast Asia and Oceania. In the wild, they grow as large shrubs, reaching up to 10 feet tall!

I majored in Fine Arts at Ohio University in Athens where I concentrated on painting and ceramics. Photography was a hobby I loved, but have still never taken a class. Hopefully, I will get around to that some...
