Artist's Description
I visited our local treasure the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens last week. Every summer they have a wonderful exhibit called Blooms and Butterflies. If you time your visit just right, you can get there while they are releasing those who have emerged from their chrysalis earlier in the day. You never know what butterflies will be flying about and it is a different wondrous experience every single time I have gone! I remember years ago taking my girls when they were little with my Mom and Dad. For some reason my mom seemed to attract them and she had a butterfly on her back a couple of times during our visit. From the smallest child to the oldest adult, everyone wanders through the tropical gardens with big smiles on their faces and gasps of delight when spotting one among the leaves of the plants.
