Description
This is one of my favorite works of art by my dad, George Wood. This is from an old photograph I have of it, since it now actually is out in California. Dad took classes at the Columbus College of Art and Design during his first years of marriage. He was balancing work during the day, a couple of classes at night and a couple of ADORABLE babies at home! He worked on a series of animal drawings which I was so lucky to find as I was going through his papers recently. This drawing was actually made into an enamel print that hung at a local elementary school for many years. As therapy for dealing with the loss of my dearest dad, I am trying to reveal his artwork to the world here. Occasionally I will add a couple. It is fun to be working with him....
