Artist's Description
It was a hot humid September morning in Ohio. The River birch next to our house had just been trimmed pretty severely so as to no longer touch any part of the structure. I went out to survey the change. I mourned the lack of deep shade, but enjoyed seeing more parts to the tree...including a Nuthatch and two Chickadees jumping from limb to limb. Such a beauty. And so enjoyed reading about your butterfly quest. My son and I just had two butterfly "shoots" and I can now appreciate how difficult it is to get that perfect shot! F/L++
Karen Adams replied:
Hahaha, yep it takes a lot of bad shots to get a good one! Thanks, Nancy! That sounds like a really fun time!
