Artist's Description
Nothing is more exciting than possibilities . . . and waiting for the arrival of something wonderful. For example, I think I love the build-up and anticipation of Christmas more than the actual day sometimes! And I kind of wanted to show that feeling in this image . . . the beauty of the potential . . . the joy of patiently waiting for something to blossom!
I am always very excited when the first Iris bursts forth in all of its glory, but I also want to always remember to look at all the stages of life and appreciate each.
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!
