For example, I think I love the build-up and anticipation of Christmas more than the actual day sometimes! And I kind of wanted to show that feeling in this image . . . the beauty of the potential . . . the joy of patiently waiting for something to blossom!
I am always very excited when the first Iris bursts forth in all of its glory, but I also want to always remember to look at all the stages of life and appreciate each.
