Sometimes you see something that is so beautiful, it just makes you stop. I was having a nice Saturday afternoon painting out on my screened porch. It was a nice warm August day in Ohio. Birds were singing . . . occasionally a butterfly fluttered by . . . it was a peaceful few hours trying to forget worries and troubles out in the world. I sometimes feel guilty indulging in these wonderful moments . . . but we all need them, right? Anyway, I paused in my painting and looked down to see this puddle of paint in a cup I used to pour from. Wow! I loved it! I grabbed my camera, (which of course, was by my side) and let the sunshine be my light and serendipity be my canvas! Be prepared to grab the presents of today!
