Description
Monarchs are poisonous because the caterpillars eat Milkweed. A great way nature has protected these beautiful creatures through the years so that we can enjoy them. Humans have destroyed many fields and wilderness where Milkweed naturally grows. Up stepped other great human beings who have planted Milkweed in their gardens and have taken great efforts to establish protected areas to keep Monarchs on this earth. There are even golf courses who have agreed to plant Milkweed in the wild parts surrounding their courses. I have quite a few Milkweed plants in my yard too and I certainly enjoy these strikingly beautiful creatures flying around my home and garden!

Thank you so much for looking at my images. I appreciate that very much.
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!
